YRI Dallas Team Volunteers at North Texas Food Bank

Now more than ever, we are experiencing a severe global food shortage. World hunger rates have sharply increased over the past few years due to the current global economic crisis. There are now approximately 1 billion chronically hungry people worldwide. These heart wrenching, yet true statistics make our efforts to fight world hunger even more relevant.

The YRI Dallas team recently pulled together to fight hunger in their local community by donating their time to the North Texas Food Bank. With the support of over 81 volunteers, the team prepared a total of 51,590 meals, and collectively completed 243 volunteer hours! This volunteer opportunity allowed the team to build ching, refresh and recharge while giving back to a worthy cause.
