KFC South Africa Team Visits Epworth Children’s Village

Once again our teams have excelled themselves and made a difference in the lives of those less fortunate…

Johan’s region comprising KFC Alberton, Florentia, Lambton, Germiston, Primrose, Edenvale, Greenstone and Isandovale paid a visit to Epworth Children’s Village.

There are 62 children in the Village ranging from 4-16 years old.

On October 16th the team went to Epworth’s and planted a vegetable garden. They shared know how by showing them how to plant and look after the vegetables so that they can have a sustainable source of food in the future.

Together with the 9-15 year old children, the team planted 324 beetroot and 360 tomato plants as well as supplied them with the necessary tools to look after the plants to ensure they thrive and grow.

While the planting was happening, the 4-8 year olds were entertained with jumping castles.

After the hard work and planting was done, there was a party pack for all the children which they enjoyed a lot seeing as they seldom get the opportunity to experience a delicious meal like KFC.
