In August they conducted 2 car washes in each market on rotating Saturdays. The Car Washes were fun, built teamwork and raised $500 for World Hunger.
They also had their Annual softball picnic and had a great time cooking on the grill and playing softball. They consumed a lot of water in the hot sun and raised $600 in donations from the managers and families.
Coming up in October, they have a golf tournament set along with an auction and a poker tournament.
El Paso is committed to achieving breakthrough results for World Hunger Relief in 2009. Last year our 11 restaurants raised over $15,000 for World Hunger and in 2009, they plan to exceed that! Everyone is excited and ready to lead their teams to victory in 2009. In the 2008 WHR campaign, Shift Supervisor Harold, lead the country with over $3,000 in donations at his restaurant alone and he is poised to take it again.
