Another exciting event in the works is a concert being organized with the help of Brad, RGM. It will be held at the historic Lakewood Theater in Dallas which is a restored 1938 Art Deco Movie Palace. The event will tie in with a scheduled concert and a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the World Hunger Relief fund.

They also have a “Wash Off” planned with local Area Coaches versus a select RGM Team to see who can wash the most cars and raise the most money on Saturday, September 12, 2009.

They are also sponsoring the largest garage sale and silent auction in Texas on Saturday, October 24th 2009.

Friends of WFP is a registered 501(c)3 organization, as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service in the United States.
