World Hunger Relief is Full On at A&W and Long John Silver’s
A&W and LJS is Full On for the World Hunger Relief Campaign. Whether it’s Hula Hooping, Wii Bowling, or Bocce Ball, the RSC began fundraising on July 20 after the quarterly meeting by hosting a summer games social event. Fundraising has continued by raffling off the Customer Mania parking spot and collecting pocket change daily. With more fundraising still to come, the high intentionality of the RSC Team is spreading to the franchise community, who are just as committed to fighting hunger.
LAW Franchisees Paul and Loretta have planned for another great World Hunger Relief Campaign. On September 26th, they will be partnering with their local chamber of commerce to participate in a festival in their town square. This event will be great exposure for the World Hunger Relief Campaign and the efforts the local LAW is making in the fight against world hunger.
Paul explains one way they are going to beat 2008’s donation of $2,500; “We will give Root Beer floats for a suggested donation of $1.00, we will also have our Great Root Bear and Pirate taking photos with kids and giving out balloons. These efforts not only help the cause but create an incredible amount of goodwill among the people in our community.”
As you can see, the A&W and LJS World Hunger Relief Campaign is alive and gaining momentum for the September 24 kick off! With great Intentionality and planful Methods, the Results will far exceed our goals for 2009!
